Costa Rica, Here I Come!

Ok guys…I know. I have been SUPER delinquent on my post frequency since the holidays, and for that, I apologize. Like many folks, I was caught up with family and friends between Xmas and New Years and I have not gotten back into the swing of things since getting back. I have about 4-5 posts that I really need to write, and they will be coming shortly (I hope). I’m still getting used to having something interesting to say every 48-72 hours, so bear with me ;-).

Unfortunately though, y’all will have to get by without my pearls of wisdom for the next 2 weeks. As of tomorrow morning, I’m off to Costa Rica for a friend’s wedding and will be without email or internet. I know, I know…sucks to be me. I’m sure you are wondering how I can tear myself away from the beautiful weather we are having here in Atlanta to go sit on the beach in paradise for a week.  It’s going to be tough and it is a shitty job, but someone has to do it….

I promise to return with a renewed vigor…I hope to get some of those backlogged posts written during the trip so that I can hit the ground running when I’m back. I intend to do more than my fair share of feasting while I am gone, so you can also look forward to some lovely Costa Rican food porn to drool over upon my return.

So, when you see no new posts on your RSS feeds or notice a complete lack of twittering, fret not. I’m simply too busy sitting on a beach sippin’ tequila and smoking a Cuban cigar, and I will return.

See you kids in a few weeks!

If you don’t eat something exotic, take plenty of pictures of it, and blog it after you return, you realize when BuHi holds a get together, we’re going to razz you about it ;).

I’m back, and I do have some good shots that I’m going to post, but have a work conference starting tomorrow, so it may not be until next week. Probably the best thing I ate the whole weekend was some fresh caught Mahi-Mahi from our fishing trip. Cut it up and grilled it on the boat with nothing but S&P and some lemon. Un-freakin-believable. Maybe the best Mahi-Mahi I have ever had…and I was the one that caught it!
